 In engineering practices, there are many forms of shaft and bore connections, and hydraulic fitting is a safe and efficient one: it can effectively transfer the torque from shaft to the hub with their interference fit. Hydraulic fitting can protect the shaft and bore from damage due to repeated heating/ mechanical installation and dismantling, and interference fit is also a reliable engineering solution for synchronous motors with fluctuating loads. Compared with other joining methods (key/spline/clamp, etc.), it can completely eliminate the clearance of keys, keyways, splines or clamp devices, and the cost of machining the product. In addition, the stress concentration in the shaft and hub can be greatly reduced. This approach has many advantages over connections with keys, but requires special toolkits for easy disassembly and installation.

In general, the hydraulic tools used are based on identical high and low pressure oil pumps and accessories, only different hydraulic nuts and associated adapters are used for different shafts. Available toolkits include: anti-wear hydraulic fluids, manual hydraulic pumps, hydraulic nuts, mounting brackets, and connection adapters customized for specific shafts. Adapters can be ordered separately for other special shafts that require suitable adapters.
